bIRDHOUSE FARMERS MARKET: 2025 iNTERNSHIP oPPORTUNITIES
Since 2007, Birdhouse Farmers Market (BFM) has worked to strengthen our local food system to improve the health and well-being of the Richmond community. In addition to offering outstanding local produce, fruit, meat, eggs and specialty food products, the market hosts youth programming, a community space, music, and more at each market. Birdhouse proudly accepts SNAP/EBT and, through the Virginia Fresh Match Program, doubles each SNAP dollar spent.
BFM is looking for multiple students with a passion for local food and education to join us for an internship throughout the 2025 market and garden seasons. We have three unique positions available this season, all of which will support BFM Staff with a variety of activities and opportunities as the season moves along.
The two garden internships will run from April - November, covering the bulk of the gardening season.
The Social Media & Communications internship will run from April - July and August - November.
